Tasmania will always be home for Ricky. He grew up in Launceston, where his cricket started at the Mowbray Cricket Club.

Ricky and Chief Winemaker Ben Riggs travelled across Tasmania to sample grapes and wines, and did their own blending in Launceston. This mixed case brings together two of the wines they made, each from a different part of the island.

Mowbray Boy Pinot Noir is made from grapes Ricky and Ben personally selected in Tasmania, including the Tamar Valley near where Ricky spent his youth. In the north of Tasmania, the Tamar Valley is a cool climate region influenced by the Tamar River, with rich, fertile soil and gentle rains that arrive from the Southern Ocean.

Captain's Call Pinot Gris is a very limited release crafted from fruit grown on a pristine single vineyard site in the Coal River Valley, in southern Tasmania.
